DESCRIPTION

When we are in a state of harmony with ourselves our hearts are open and the energy can flow easily. At times, because of past experiences or challenges, we can attach to emotions that in time may cause imbalance and block the heart center. The Heart chakra is the fourth energy center, located at the chest, where the lower and the higher chakras meet and balance, unifying the physical and spiritual aspects. By offering acceptance and forgiveness, you allow yourself to release the old energies and you make room for more love, joy and peace to enter your life. In this meditation we will connect to the wisdom of the Heart, allowing the healing and balancing to take place, bringing all the chakras into alignment. When you are in a state of balance, you are sharing this energy with those around you and operating from your natural state of being, with more love and compassion.

We live in a busy world and sometimes taking a small break to breath and relax is essential for our wellbeing. We tend to spend a lot of our time and energy thinking about the past or being anxious about the future. This results in not fully living and enjoying this present moment.

The practice of Mindfulness is to focus your attention in the present moment in a state of acceptance towards your thoughts and emotions, with an attitude of kindness and compassion. Practiced regularly, mindfulness can support you to be more present and focused to being fully engaged in your activities.

Scientific studies have shown that Mindfulness has many health benefits that promote wellbeing including reducing stress & anxiety, improving concentration and mental clarity. One of the ways to practice mindfulness is through meditation. Meditation helps us to access the body’s own natural relaxation response, to release stress and increase self- awareness.

In this guided mindfulness meditation, we will focus our attention on the breath as an anchor to this present moment, allowing the body- mind connection to flow in harmony and in a state of balance. By being more aware of the link between your body and mind, you learn to come into alignment with your whole being and support yourself into living a more happier life.

DESCRIPTION

At Full Moon, the energy of the moon is at the peak and it is a good time for inner reflection and healing. In some cultures, people come together in groups to connect to the moon energy to meditate and to celebrate. As the moon illuminates the sky at this time, you can shine your own light within and with the help of the full moon energy you can let go of old energies that are no longer serving you. Because the moon influences the water it is also a good opportunity to connect to the water element within your body and let go of old emotions to find more peace and balance. In this meditation we will connect to the energy of the full moon and allow it to support us into receiving guidance and assistance to help us bring our goals and visions into manifestation.
